Rectangular, red, fulled, tabby-woven wool cushion end decorated with an applied panel. This consists of gold-coloured paper, metal-wrapped thread, and glass on green, black and red, twill silk ground. The red hexagonal centre and green triagonal corners contain foliate motifs held in place by couched metal thread, and decorated with mirror pieces secured with either black or red buttonhole stitch. The textile would have been a cushion end.
