Rectangular section of "birch barkcloth blanket". It is decorated overall with light brown rubbed patterns and dark brown painted lines. The rubbed patterns consists of parallel lines, some spaced in smaller groups creating partial chevron patterns. The painted lines divide the textile into 3 sections. Each of these is subdivided into 5 rectangular fields. Some are decorated with chevrons or diagonals. A number of small incisions and/or rectagular cut-outs are situated on either long side.
