Standing figure of a peacock with three head feathers and a tang for the tail, which is missing, and folded wings. It is bolted to an oblong plinth with scalloped edges and four feet, also with feather decoration in the same style as the body. It is made of iron overlaid with silver on black all over, to indicate feathers on the wings and lower body. It has eye insets of red glass. Three flower-shaped pieces which screw into apertures on top of the head form the crown. There are traces of gold overlay on the crown and feet.
