Copper alloy figure and oil lamp depicting Ganesha (whose body would hold the oil) seated on top of a high oval open-work base with the accompanying rat forming the opening for the wick (over a leaf-shaped basin). Ganesa is depicted with six arms holding various attributes, a tiered crown which hides the hinged lid (detached and missing), topped by a seven-headed cobra (disguising/forming the handle of the lamp).
