trousers (clothing: outerwear)

Pair of shorts, probably of seal skin. The legs and back are of spotted fur. The front of each trouser leg is decorated with a rectangular panel of applied strips of leather, divided into three vertical sections. To left and right these are white fur, the middle one made up of various vertical strips of coloured leather. The panel is edged with a red leather border outside a thin blue and white trim. The waistband is of black leather. Part of a complete suit of clothing.
