On Weds 29 and Thurs 30 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Bandstand Terrace, and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Blue Badge parking is closed all week. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
Wooden Noh mask (Warai-jyo). A mask of an old man with braided hair, moustache and beard, with wrinkles and part-opened mouth. He has a beige complexion. The mask forms part of a boxed set. It would have been worn by an actor playing a human who is in 'Suma Genji' and 'Genjo'.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
