Ijele mask, comprising two segments: the upper and lower segments with a large python between them. The upper segment is called Mkpu Ijele while the lower segment is called Akpakwuru Ijele or Ogbanibe. The centre is called Eke-Ogba (Python). The ijele towers about 12 to 15 feet high, based on a gravitational balance construction. The bamboo and cane structure is covered with a patchwork of multi-coloured cloths.
