Woman's Hair Braid

Woman’s hair ornament used to bulk out the hair in the form of a fabric head band with a button fastening and four black woollen cords. At the end of each woollen cord there is an ornamental pendant made up of four sections of small green and blue beads, and yellow and red braiding on tightly bound fabric. Each woollen cord passes through the ornamental pendants into a white metal ornament impressed with ‘eye’ motifs. The woollen cords then pan to bell-shapes in openwork which support black tassels.
