Rectangular wall hanging made of six strips sewn together (‘SUSANI’, literally ‘stitched’ cloth, see note). The dark green silk ground is embroidered with flower motifs in yellow, brown, dark green, purple and white, with black and ochre borders, and contained within a geometric frame of white openwork stitching. Deterioration on the silk ground indicates some age. A velcro band on the rear indicates that this has been used as a hanging.
