Girl's Hat

White unmarried girl’s skull cap, duppit; a low square with a crown of four triangular panels, with box walls and a black velvet trim. The panel joins are outlined with a black ‘Jacob’s ladder’ motif. A white checkerboard ground and geometric floral motifs in green, red and pink. Lined in printed cloth – floral along the walls and green circles on plain white on the crown.
