A male glove puppet with a gourd head representing a DERVISH. It is the pointed blue hat, with a black and white bead amulet, wound with a white turban, which indicates that this puppet is a Dervish. The tapered head is lacquered, with the features of a bearded man painted on it in black and red. An open fronted cotton robe in grey, white and pink stripes is worn. The trim on the edges of the robe, and on the cuffs, is table-woven. A gold and yellow tablet-woven choker is worn. The puppet is mounted on a plain turned wooden rod, and stand.
