Mahavishnu (The comic form)

Wooden glove kathakali puppet representing Mahavishnu, the cosmic form of Vishnu. The face is painted green with red, white, yellow and black detailing. There are four arms and each hand is painted pink with the thumb and index fingers touching and holding an attribute. The upper left holds a chakra, the upper right a conch, the lower right a lotus. A wooden crown is carved with the head. The costume is textile and is predominately yellow with black and gold detailing.
