Veerabhadra

Wooden glove kathakali puppet representing Veerabhadra. The head is painted red, white, yellow, and black. There are large teeth, and horn-like protrusions from the nose. The hands are pink, with the thumb and index fingers touching, and the right hand is holding an axe. A large wooden crown is carved with the head. The costume is textile and is predominately white, with red and black detailing.
