Batik skirt cloth, sarung, predominantly cream and red. It is of good quality, being double-sided, dyed with natural dyes (the red is 'mengkudu', from morinda citrifolia), and with hand drawn elements. The vertical panel or kepala is a floral design, 'buketan', and is largely made up of meandering leaf fronds, smaller bunches of flowers and two butterflies. The main ground has large repeating roses and a carnation, also tied with a blue ribbon, all on a cream ground with diagonal lines. It comes from the north coast of Java.
