Blanket, pua kumbu, sewn selvedge to selvedge from 2 tabby-woven cotton sections. The textile is decorated with a ikat-patterned panel, framed by woven stripes on the longer sides. The panel is decorated with stripes containing repeat motifs in red, blue, brown and cream. The motifs consist of Royal Brunei aeroplanes, standing figures, and (in the opposite direction) the upper torsos and heads of figures. This panel is bordered by wide bands of differently patterned, outward-facing, triangular shapes. The outer border of the panel contains a blue and cream chevron band. The sets of stripes frame a central ikat stripe. Each set contains a central grey and cream banded stripe which is framed by grey, red, and white stripes of varying widths.
