Blanket, pua kumbu, sewn together from 4 strips of tabby-woven cotton textile. The 2 outer, striped sections are narrower than the 2 ikat-patterned sections creating the central bands. The central panel contains dark red, cream and blue ikat patterns. The pattern appears to contain repeats of single- and double-headed figures. The panel is framed by different, geometric- patterned borders on the shorter sides. These are followed with a red and blue chevron-patterned, and white band. The striped sections forming the borders on the longer sides contain 2 differently patterned sets.
