Bamun Cap Mask

Bamun cap mask (Magba). The mask is made of brown clay. It has a wide face. The top of the head is moulded into a protruding curve, with smaller curves etched into the clay within it. There are two ears which stick out; two protruding brows (a crack runs from the left brow to the nose); two bulging eyes; and a large nose. The mouth sticks out, showing teeth. There is a gap between the teeth, that forms a hole through the mask. A moustache and beard have been carved around the mouth.
