Cotton is opened, flattened. 3.Using a wooden board or a tortoise shell and a wooden stick, the seeds are rolled out of the fibres. The tool and the process together are called mengeri. 4. Using a bamboo comb or a bamboo knife (kekedi), cotton is fluffed. (Small particles of dirt can be taken out during this process). 5. Additionally cotton is fluffed using a bow (wuhu).
