Ru helama naiki. Helama: selamat (Bah. Ind.) means prosperity, wishing well. Small offerings in form of a cross and wrapped with a red thread, wurumada buda, used for its protective virtues in many ceremonies. Those with peg in the centre made of sandal wood are for the ceremony mane wai (weaving a funeral cloth).
