On Saturday 5 July the Gardens will be accessible to Big Fish Little Fish ticket holders only. The Museum will be open as usual and entrance will be via London Road only.
A woven plant fibre basket and lid with an integral geometic pattern from the Amazon region of South America. The edge of the basket and lid are supported with concealed cane. The lid and basket are attached with string and cannot be separated. The lid is decorated with clusters of small red, green and black feathers. The base of the basket is decorated with large brown and small red clusters of feathers.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
