Five Périnet valves, three positioned vertically for the right hand, two (of a larger bore) at the side of the instrument for the left. Mother of pearl finger buttons, three missing. Mouthpiece missing. Socket for music card holder on third valve loop. With navy blue case, not original. Bell is decorated with floral engravings and stamped: CLASS A/50 MEDALS OF HONOUR/FTB/BESSON & Co./"Prototype"/198 EUSTON ROAD/LONDON; Right hand valve casings stamped 10,11,12 and left hand valve casings stamped
