Carved wooden stand, rehal, for Qur'an. Made from cengal wood. The main motif is 'ketam guri', the name of a common wild plant which is much favoured for carvings in Kelantan and Terengganu. The preliminary drawing and designing work was undertaken by the craftsman, Norhaiza, but the initial cutting out is undertaken by his apprentices. Norhaiza then completes the work.
