Amulet, triangular on a red silk thread. Grey cloth with blue over locking stitching along the two upper edges. The main motif is of stacked horns in red and yellow with two smaller motifs of two ‘V’-shapes in green and yellow in the corners; all inside a triangular border in pink chain stitch on the outer side, the inner side is blank. Made in Nukus, the silk thread is bought in the bazaar as there is no local silk production. The motifs are a mix of authentic Karakalpak copied from books and from fantasy in Karakalpak style. Made in the Aral Sea Crafts Centre (ASCC).
