Tubular skirt made from tabby-woven silk decorated with blue-black and multicoloured vertical stripes in weft ikat. The centre of the blue-black stripes contains a dark red stripe framed by thin, paired yellow stripes. The ikat consists of yellow s- or z- shaped motifs with a green diamond-shaped motif at either end. They are outlined in red on a cream ground. Top and bottom end of each ikat stripe is marked by an inward-facing dentate motif in red. The textile is hemmed along one selvedge.
