Tubular skirt made from tabby-woven silk textile decorated with pink and orange ikat, and purple stripes framed by thin red stripes. The thin stripes have been woven using one pick of contrasting coloured silk weft threads lightly twisted together. The ikat motifs consist of longer or shorter pink dashes in alternating purple stripes. Each set of one long, two short creates a diamond-like shape due to the alternating placement. Along the top and bottom of the ikat panel is a line created by short dashes. To either side of the seam sewn by machine is a plain purple stripe.
