At the Well

Painting of a village scene with two women beside a well. In the centre foreground are two buckets and a rope. The women are inside a fenced enclosure with a telegraph pole in the centre, another in the left background, and a wooden gate. Outside the enclosure, in the background, are three single-storey houses: two with pitched roofs and one with a flat roof; each house has a square window. Behind the flat roofed house is an electric pylon, with green trees in front. Impressionistic in style.
