Conch trumpet, local name "Sak", made of a Xancus pyrum shell, brass and another unknown metal which is decoratively stamped. The conch trumpet from Sri Lanka relates to other ornately decorated conch trumpets used in Budhist worship. It appears to be made of the same type of shell as is seen in temples dedicated to Hindu deities all over the Indian subcontinent.
