Panel, posssibly from mattress cover, of red cotton with bands of continuous and discontinuous supplementary weft in multicoloured cotton thread at each end. At the centre, divided by a band of six-petalled motifs in discontinuous supplementary weft in several colours, are four naga motifs, one in blue, one in green and two in greenish gold, these with a blue stripe along the spine. In the background are diamond and star shapes. These and the naga give the appearance of embroidery. Lao Neua. Laos (AF68.1)
