Small square box made of zinc alloy, which is incomplete. The base has been attached to the sides, and filed to smooth the edges. The lid has been coloured black with copper sulphate, engraved with a design of interlocking crosses, and inlaid with silver. Two holes have been drilled in the back edge of the lid for a hinge attachment. This represents the fifth stage in the manufacture of Bidri ware.
