
Shoulder bag formed of two lengths of cotton fabric sewn together. One piece is folded in half and forms the main body of the bag; the other is folded to form the sides of the bag and a shoulder strap. Tassels at each side. Embroidered on one side in a pattern of horizontal rows, with vertical srips of appliqué at the sides which extend below the bag. Lomi Akha , Northern Thailand. See page 211 of Lewis and Lewis 1984.
