White tunic/blouse ('Hupuil'). Made of heavy white cotton, embroidered across the shoulders with geometric patterns (mainly diamonds) in purple, blue, yellow, green, probably representing the sun. The back and front of the Hupuil shows a sequence of embroidered stylised birds, probably 'navales'.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
