On Tues 28 and Wed 29 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Blue Badge Parking, Bandstand Terrace and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
Apple corer made of sheep's metatarsal bone, the knuckle at the handle end, one half of the other end cut away leaving a scoop. Carved on the reverse with an all over dotted lozenge design, and on the scoop side with with the initials JA between two crosses, all decorated with dots.
