Mouth organ, local name lachi, Akha people, Northern Thailand. Gourd wind chest with integral mouthpipe. Five bamboo pipes fixed into the gourd with black wax, each with a fingerhole. The pipes act as acoustic couplers to the free reeds inside the gourd.
