On Saturday 5 July the Gardens will be accessible to Big Fish Little Fish ticket holders only. The Museum will be open as usual and entrance will be via London Road only.
A diamond ball, ito-mari, Japan. Originally these were toys for a girl, also wedding gifts, a symbol of good luck. It is made of yarns in layers. The top layers are red over a beige and white layer, over a black ground, wrapped in geometrical patterns over a round core. It has a red loop for suspension.
