cap (clothing: headwear)

Shepherd's cap, circular, made of black sateen fabric gathered attached in folds to a circular piece at the centre of the top. Around the vertical side parts are rows of machine stitching, most in straight lines but two in waves. Lined with woven fabric with patterns of stripes mostly in grey with some lilac and yellow elements.
