One of a set of paintings depicting scenes of Manipuri ceremonies and Manipuris. On the left are a number of white-robed musicians seated in front of a larger group of white-robed seated figures. In the foreground are two group of dancers in colourful costume, each with a bundle of staffs by them on the ground, with what appears to be a length of white cloth between them. Towards the centre at the back is a figure dressed in the costume of a white bird with a yellow beak, and to the right of this figure are two moving figures in fur costumes, one with a buffalo mask, the other more athropomorphic.
