Hanging metal oil lamp, in the form of a peacock, with small vertical spout from beneath its breast, presumably as a channel to the reservoir for the wicks, standing astride a double-spouted lamp tray. The body is decorated with engraved motifs of stylised lotus flowers in medallions and a row of lotus petals following the outline of the wings. Chain for suspension from the bird's head. Tail connected to the body with a rivet. The peacock is attached to the tray with a hinge. On the opposite side evidence of a lead repair.
