Rectangular textile, wool embroidered on linen. The green embroidery thread is silk. There is one selvedge at the narrow end and this and one longer end have a narrow piece of red linen sewn onto the border. Two tassels have been applied where these edges meet. Beside these edges is a repeating border pattern of stylized flowers. Larger, more angular flower motifs dominate the centre field.
