Headdress (wool and shells). Ring pad of wool with a rectangle of woven wool hanging vertically from it on one side, edged on three sides with cowrie shells and also a square cotton piece edged on two sides with cowrie shells. Both the wool and cotton pieces are woven in intricate designs and brightly coloured. The wool piece has also metal and wool pendants hanging from it. Both pieces are lined with block-printed fabric. Lth. 17 1/2". Part of a costume.
