Rectangular piece of muslin textile with silk embroidery. The beige coloured ground is embroidered all over with a large, repeating pattern, of a cross within a square. The arms of the cross are embroidered with silver coloured metal-wrapped thread. This cross is 'superimposed' onto a light or mid-green 'x' motif. The corners of the 'x' have been embroidered with metal-wrapped thread and two tones of brown silk thread to resemble 'tumbling blocks'.
