textile; sample (textiles)

Rectangular piece of linen textile. Most likely part of a woman's blouse. One of the longer edges is a selvedge. Beside it is a vertical row of 20 circular-shaped motifs. Each motif is outlined in black and worked in red, yellow, orange and green cotton threads. Small blue and green beads are attached to each motif. An identical row of embroidery has been worked on the other side.
