Two thin rectangles of cotton textile of unequal size, joined together at one of the shorter sides. Part of a woman's blouse, from the upper sleeve (altitza). The larger section is heavily embroidered with two rows of 'S' shaped motifs in metal-wrapped thread. The smaller section is identical save for the motifs, which are reversed. These motifs are surrounded by areas of red, and two tones of yellow embroidery. Small blue and green beads have been attached. A band of chain stitching which has the appearance of gold braid separates the two rows of embroidery and runs along the two shorter and one of the longer edges.
