Leather khol bottle containing powder. The bottle is rounded in shape, with a tall, narrow neck made of metal. A fringe of leather tassels hangs from the bottle, with cowrie shells attached at the bottom. A leather lid is attached to the bottle with a leather cord.

Label: The object is accompanied by a handwritten label, reading 'Leather Cosmetic / Container used for storing caseterite [sic] / or antimony / Hausa or / Fulani or / Islam Converted tribes / Widespread in N Nigeria [Ms Abu] / 9/7/73'.
