Composite ornament for wearing on the forehead or in the back of the hair, constructed from a curved circular piece of clamshell which has been pierced at the centre so that it can be attached to a circular piece of turtle shell in front. This piece is cut into a pattern of four converging sets of concentric V shapes around an X shape, which in this case is frame with a circle of 14 rectangular cells.
