Cylindrical drawstring basket of fine strips of rattan woven in a twill pattern in horizontal bands, accentuated in patterning on the outside with black dye. From the top, it is decorated with: bands of triangles, eight-pointed stars, a wide band of geometrical shapes which might be stylised human figures, interlocking scrolls and continuous meander. The lowest section of the basket is mostly natural in colour. The top of the basket has integral woven loops. The sides are attached to a base made of a coil of fibre bound into a disc.
