



Part of a carved wooden archway, made from teak wood. A carved wooden pillar, square in cross section at the top and bottom section, with a cylindrical central section. The cylindrical section is carved throughout with vertical lines of flower designs and peacock feathers. At the top, one face which faces outwards, is intricately carved. The one to the right is also carved, this is outward facing on the left side of the arch. The face to the right has a vertical slot cut into it for a panel to slot into. This is marked ‘XLV’ (This connects to part 6). The one at the back, has two batons into which a panel slots, this is marked with a sticker ‘C1’ (This connects to part 29). A label with this part is marked ‘Front 3’.
