Bamboo ladle (shao) of cylindrical form with a scoop and a loop handle. It was used as an oil measure, recorded as 2 oz. by Rev. Davidson in terms of volume, which was almost equivalent to 5 'shao' when converted to Chinese unit of measurement for liquid in the 19th century. 1 'shao' is equal to 10 ml.
