Heavy, broad, beaded belt. The patterning comprises a series of squares and rectangles set within a red ground. The principal motif is a red cross (with a yellow centre) enclosed by a black and then a yellow square. The beads are strung on bast threads. The beading is secured with two rows of twined bast thread after every five rows. [Textile]
