Tapered cylindrical fan case of woven silk tapestry with 'ruyi'-shaped top, edged with braided ribbon with blue and white chevrons, open at top with attached pale blue silk strap loop handle embellished with blue and white stripes and two pink glass ovoid beads; lined with stiffened undyed cotton. The exterior is woven with an interlocking swastika background and 'shou' (longevity) charcters enclosed within floral medallions. The base is missing.
