Wooden figure of a man with long hair, flowing robe and clogs, on a pedestal, in a rough wooden box with owner's name on the back. The left hand column is the name: ' Inoue Tokuzaemon'. The right hand column gives the date (January 21st) and period 'Ansei 2', which is the year 1855. On the outside top of the case is inscribed in pen:' Case 100 no. 211'. CMS label on one side.
